Zoo Website Survey
Zoo Atlanta is recruiting parents and teachers to participate in a focus group on Thursday, May 30 to evaluate the effectiveness of the Zoo’s website. If chosen to participate, you will receive a confirmation email by 5/23/13. As a token of our thanks, those that participate will receive 4 complimentary tickets for admission to Zoo Atlanta that can be used after their focus group session. GPCP Parent Alum Publishes First Book
Grant Park resident and GPCP parent alum Wayne Drash, dad to Billy and Emma, has his first book, On These Courts, coming out on Tuesday May 7th, detailing former NBA player Penny Hardaway’s return to his old neighborhood to coach at-risk youth. Penny was the face of Nike after Michael Jordan, beloved by millions and immortalized by his trash-talking alter ego, Lil Penny.

Dear GPCP Families:

I hope everyone can join us for the End of the Year Celebration at Cabbagetown Park on Friday, May 17th. All children will start the day at Cabbagetown campus. Full details of the End of the Year Celebration/Graduation Ceremony are in the Director's letter attached here (click on the Message from Gabriela title to access it).

As we make our final preparations for the celebration and the school year, I am reminded of so many positive experiences we have shared this year and I am very appreciative of all that you have done at the school this year! Please read the FINAL CLASS LETTERS of the year (attached) as our educators reflect on one more month of experiences.

During Atlanta Streets Alive on May 19th from 2 -6 pm we will be partnering with IKEA to help create pop up parks (parklets) for you to share your neighborhood on Peachtree St.    more
