Las Posadas

Las Posadas is a fun and picturesque Mexican celebration that we have embraced as one of our traditions as part of the Spanish curriculum. The event involves a procession that starts at the school and takes us into different houses in the neighborhood, caroling and singing Spanish Holiday songs. We will be leaving the school at 10:30am and the event will culminate with the breaking of the piñata. In the event of rain, each campus will host this part of the event in the gym and the community room.

Songs that are included during Los Posadas are "Cascabel
," "Feliz Navidad," "Mi burrito sabanero," and "Brilla Brilla Estrellita."   Please click the each song title for the words to practice at home.

All children and families are invited to participate in the celebration!
Please note: if your child does not attend school on the day of the celebration, your child can be part of the event as long as an adult accompanies him/her.
