Fabulous Art...Great food...Entertainment...and BLING!
Saturday, March 6th, 5:30-10 pm
It's that time of the year again: The Grant Park Cooperative Preschool Art Show and Auction is coming up!
Purchase Auction Tickets Online - $20 each
Don’t miss this ONCE-A-YEAR opportunity to be part of a fabulous event! Enjoy a wonderful evening while supporting the Grant Park Cooperative Preschool. Silent and live auctions featuring one-of-a-kind art from local artists, vacations, restaurant gift certificates, retail items, and anything else you could imagine…even one lucky champagne-drinker will win a diamond!
Tough times call for creative thinking and this year, support from community businesses has been overwhelming! In addition to the artwork from emerging artists, other auction items include a trip to Argentina, a weekend stay at St. Simons Island, Georgia, hundreds of dollars in gift certificates, tickets to Atlanta-area events, photography sessions with local photographers and so much more. A variety of items will also be available, including clothing, pottery, handmade jewelry and other creative offerings from local retailers.
Come peruse the art, eat, drink and be entertained! Tickets are $20, and include food by Jackmont Hospitality, drinks from Sierra Nevada and a diamond and champagne raffle sponsored by Burk’s Jewelers. Proceeds from the auction and art show play a significant role in the not-for-profit school’s operating budget, as well as help fund scholarships, teacher salaries and school supplies.
The Grant Park Cooperative Preschool currently serves 120 families at campuses in Grant Park and Cabbagetown. The Preschool’s curriculum follows the Reggio Emilia approach to education and is designed to encourage the development of the child’s self-respect and inner discipline. Primary importance is placed upon creating opportunities for the children to satisfy their natural curiosity and to find fulfilling outlets through music, art, literature, language, drama and other forms of play. As a cooperative, parents are involved in contributing inside the classroom to their children’s education.
Did we mention THE WIPES are performing!
