Dear GPCP Families,
As we navigate through this holiday season, we are reminded of what a privilege it is to be able to experience life together.  The Thanksgiving luncheon coordinated by the parents in the Pedagogical Support Committee, was not only delicious but more importantly one of the examples of the strong values that are reflected in our school community.

Big thanks to Jennifer and Luke Rhodes for leading this effort, and to Sheridan Thomason, Julie Pittman, Manuel Valero, Scott Childs and Maggie Nyquist for providing yummy food.

Thanks to everyone who supported GPCP on #GaGives on #GivingTuesday. If you weren't able to give on #GivingTuesday. It's not too late.Your contribution will help enrich our Farm-to-School program. Click the link below to donate.

Each year I look forward to the annual Candlelight Tour of Homes held the weekend of December 8th & 9th.  This event is organized in collaboration with St. Paul and the Parents Network, with GPCP receiving 25% of the proceeds.
Big thanks to everyone who signed up to volunteer! We reached our volunteer goal!

Childcare will be available at GP campus and those who volunteered for a shift during the tour will have priority to sign up and a reduced rate.

The celebration of Las Posadas will take place Wednesday, December 19th at CT Campus and Friday, December 21st at GP Campus.  Los Posadas is a fun and picturesque latin american celebration that GPCP has embraced as one of our traditions that are part of the Spanish Program.  At our school, we focus on the cultural elements of the celebration, rather than the religious aspects. The event involves a procession that starts at the school and takes us to different houses in the neighborhood, caroling and singing Spanish Holiday songs.  We will be leaving each respective campus at 10:30am and the event will culminate with the breaking of the piñata at the playground at the GP campus and at the Cabbagetown park for the CT Campus.

The November Class letters are here for you to read.  Get comfortable and enjoy reading :)
