Dear GPCP Families,

It is hard to believe that we have been in school for two full months already!  Even though time flies for us, this is a long time for very young children as they are discovering ways to navigate and make sense of the world around them.

We are excited to be hosting Family Educator conferences in the next couple of weeks. We value this time when educators and parents can take time time outside of their busy schedules to share stories about each child and work collaboratively to set goals for the school year. If you have not done so please take a moment to sign up for a conference.

Please take a moment to read my October Newsletter!

I strongly encourage you to attend the tomorrow's workday, Saturday, October 14th. Each family is required to attend one work day per academic year as part of their family participation. These workdays usually occur on Saturday mornings and involve projects as varied as cleaning and painting classrooms, to playground maintenance and landscaping. We are looking forward to seeing you there!

School photos are ready.  Big thanks to Leo & Maria for their amazing work!  The photos are truly amazing! Preview and order them here!

Please assist us in making sure your child is ready for the school year by turning in all of the required forms. Per Bright From the Start Regulations, we must receive updated and new Enrollment Forms each year and your child's immunization form must always be up-to-date.  If you are able to print and bring these forms to Back to School Night it is greatly appreciated!  In addition, help your child's year get off to a great start by sending us a headshot for his/her cubbie!  Please email headshots to Melissa at administrativeassistant@gpcp.org.  Lastly, an Emergency Contact Card does not need to be updated each year, but if any of your emergency contact information or pick-up persons for your child has changed, please update.  Only one of these cards is needed per family. If you have any questions, please let us know!
