I really appreciate all of the parents and educators who participated in the school-wide meeting last month. Your strong participation and collaboration represents the core values of our school. You can read more about this in my April newsletter.

GPCP will be hosting a Barefoot Book Fundraiser beginning next week. Please read our letter for more details.

 

The next workday will take place on Saturday, April 22nd at the Cabbagetown Campus only. We encourage parents from both campuses to participate as we will focus on beautifying the campus in preparation for the Educator Exchange Day.   

There is only one workday left for this school year.

 

GPCP Scholarship: The school has funds available for the Scholarship Program.These funds are limited and we consider applications for up to fifty percent (50%) of regular tuition. Please turn in your application by April 18th, 2017. Application forms are available at each campus and could be also sent via email. Contact Liza at OperationsManager@gpcp.org.

 

You still have time to sign up for GPCP Spring Camping Trip, April 21-23 at Hard Labor Creek. This site is less than one hour from Atlanta, so it's the perfect opportunity to try camping with kids! “GPCP Folktales” Preschool Age Camps at Grant Park Campus
GPCP Summer Camps for our preschool age children will be held at the Grant Park Campus. Candace Dupree is GPCP’s Summer Camp Coordinator. Educators from both campuses will be teaching during the summer camps.

If you are new to GPCP, your child must hav
e enrollment forms and an emergency contact card on file at GPCP before camp begins. Please print the paperwork and bring the forms with you on the first day of camp. If you are unable to print ahead of time, we will have the forms available for you, but please allow extra time at drop-off to complete.  All new families will need a few minutes to set up a profile on the computer for whoever is dropping off and picking up your child.  Current Immunization Forms are also required.  They may be faxed to 404-525-3577. 
The school has funds available for the Scholarship Program.  These funds are limited and we consider applications for up to fifty percent (50%) of regular tuition.  Decisions regarding the allocation of scholarshipfunds are made by the Scholarship Committee (Executive Director, Treasurer, and President) and recipients are notified by the Operations Manager. The allocation of funds is made in a manner that allows the greatest benefit to the largest number of applicants.   The requirements for parental involvement apply equally to all parents, including those families receiving scholarship assistance.  Please turn in your application by April 18th, 2017.  Application forms are available at each campus and could be also sent via email. Our school has an alarm system in each campus. Outside of business hours, our school is secured and the alarm is set. We ask that you do not enter our school after hours, unless you have made arrangements with us and have the alarm code.
