The non-profit board of directors plays a crucial advisory role, providing strategic guidance and oversight to the organization. As stewards of the non-profit's mission and values, board members leverage their diverse expertise to support the executive leadership team. Key responsibilities include setting the organization's long-term vision, ensuring long-term financial sustainability, and upholding ethical standards. Board members act as ambassadors, leveraging their networks to expand the non-profit's reach and impact within the community. This volunteer position requires a significant time commitment, but offers the rewarding opportunity to drive meaningful change.
Meet the Team

Qiana Suggs - Executive Director
The day-to-day management of the school is carried out by the Executive Director. The Executive Director is hired by and accountable to the Board of Directors, representing the
entire parent body. The Director holds a year-round position. When school is in session, the Director's regular hours are 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM. While the Director does not need to be on-site when school is not in session, she is responsible for ensuring smooth transitions between sessions and vacation breaks. Tut Said - President
Tut grew up in Stone Mountain, GA, and has called Grant Park home since 2020. He attended Furman University in Greenville, SC, where he played soccer. Sport has always been an influential part of his life, leading him to a career in the athletic sportswear industry, having spent 15 years in sales at Nike and the last 5 years with HOKA. Tut is a single dad by choice and welcomed his son Memphis in November of 2024 and is expecting his daughter, Cairo, in August of 2025. Tut is excited about his growing family, being a part of the diverse GPCP community, and serving on the board.

Sophie Cox - Vice President
Sophie grew up in Little 5 Points and met her life partner, Taylor, in 6th grade Spanish class. Their daughter, Lucinda, started in Sallies and will be a Ladybug in the fall! A proud Atlanta Public Schools graduate, Sophie is drawn to GPCP’s commitment to addressing race, gender, and class disparities in early childhood education. Sophie works in marketing technology and owns a consulting business, helping clients with marketing automation and lead generation strategy. Sophie and her family live in Ormewood Park. She loves to lift heavy, sing with her band, and eat oysters.

Rhiannon Fletcher- Educator Representative
I am an Atlanta native, who grew up in the Decatur area and has lived all over the city. I have always had a passion for helping young children learn and grow. I started my career in early childhood in 2013, and have worked with children ages 6 weeks up to 5 years old. I am a mother to a sweet and spirited two-year-old named Freyja, who keeps me on my toes. I enjoy sports, spending time with my friends and family, traveling (especially if it involves a beach), taking pictures, and trying new restaurants around the city.

Justine Harrison- Secretary
Justine is a career high school teacher currently working in student support services and youth mental health for a school-based nonprofit in South Atlanta. When looking for childcare options for her son (current multi-ager Elliot) Justine and her husband fell in love with the child-centered Reggio Emilia approach at GPCP. They are excited to send upcoming Sallie, baby Sonny, to GPCP this fall. Having worked in school settings for the past 15 years, Justine knows that students thrive when their families and educators come together to create meaningful spaces for learning and growth. She is passionate about the Coop model and looks forward to bringing her experiences to the GPCP community.

Brittany Horton - Health and Safety Chair
My family has been at GPCP for the past 3 years. My children Cohen (3) and Brody (1), absolutely love it here! By day, l'm a clinical pharmacist at Emory, where I've worked for the past seven years. I'm responsible for ensuring medication safety, patient care, and infection control. I'm trained to follow safety guidelines, and pay close attention to detail, especially when it comes to health protocols and preventing the spread of illness. Health and safety are a big part of both my professional and personal life. GPCP has become such a special part of our lives! I'm so excited for the opportunity to give back as this year's Health and Safety Chair and keep our children happy, healthy, and thriving!

Steffie Bean- Treasurer
Stephanie (Steffie) is originally from Marietta and graduated from University of Georgia. She and her husband, Landon, have called Summerhill home since 2021. They have two daughters at GPCP—Helen in Multiage and Frances in Sallies. Stephanie works in corporate finance at Accenture, and outside of work she enjoys family walks around the neighborhood, wine tastings, and playing tennis.

Megan Bradley - Communications Chair
A metro-Atlanta native, Megan grew up in Alpharetta and now calls Summerhill home, where she lives with her husband Brian, their dog, and their daughter Juliet, who will be joining the Cats class next year! She is a proud Georgia Tech graduate and is excited to be back in Atlanta after a four-year stint in Denver.
Megan is a freelance marketing manager specializing in social media and website marketing for education-focused clients, including universities and edtech brands. She is passionate about making communication clear, consistent, and easy to navigate. As a newer GPCP family, she knows firsthand how much seamless communication matters when you're finding your footing in a new community, and she's excited to bring that perspective and her professional skills to the Communications Chair role.
In her free time, Megan loves listening to podcasts, trying new restaurants, and going for runs. You'll often find her family on walks around the neighborhood, visiting the zoo, or hanging out at the Halfway Crooks Biergarten!

Kelli Williams - Equity and Diversity Chair
Kelli is a Georgia native, and a Georgia State University graduate. Kelli is a dedicated community advocate and researcher committed to advancing equity, inclusion, and opportunity for all students, educators, and families. She has worked with many non profits such as the Lupus Foundation of America, helping to advance the science as well as quality of life of patients. As a member of the Board, she would bring a thoughtful, collaborative, and research-informed perspective to fostering inclusive and equitable learning environments where every student feels seen, valued, and empowered. She believes that equity and inclusion for everyone create stronger, more connected, and more effective communities where all individuals have the opportunity to thrive.
Kelli received her PhD in Epidemiology from University of Pennsylvania. She also holds a Master of Public Health degree from Morehouse School of Medicine. Through both her academic and community leadership, she remains committed to advocating for equitable and inclusive environments. She loves to go on nature walks, ride her bike, hang with her family, and watch movies.

Rachel Fergus - Technology Chair
I live in Grant Park with my husband, our son Charlie, and our golden retriever, Remy. Professionally, I work in critical care medicine, where collaboration, communication, education, and teamwork are a huge part of what I do every day.
Technology has also been a lifelong interest of mine - I started building websites when I was nine years old and still love it today. In my current role, I manage technology, websites, digital media, communications, and multimedia projects for my group. I’m excited about the opportunity to serve as Technology Chair and use those skills to support GPCP, strengthen communication, and help our community stay connected. GPCP has already meant so much to our family, and I’d love the chance to give back in a bigger way

Rafi Norberg- Fundraising Co-Chair
Rafi has spent his career helping nonprofits, foundations, and schools raise more money and connect with the right audiences. He's the founder and President of Nexus Marketing, an Atlanta-based agency that specializes in marketing and nonprofit technology. Rafi, his wife Natalie, and their daughter Sloane (a current GPCP student) live in Ormewood Park. He's running for Fundraising Chair because he wants GPCP to thrive, and he's eager to put everything he knows about fundraising and campaigns to work for the school, its families, and its scholarship fund.

Alex Graveline Miller- Fundraising Co-Chair
Alex is a strategic hospitality and events leader at Delta Air Lines with 15 years of experience designing and executing large-scale, high-impact experiences that drive engagement, elevate brand identity, and foster meaningful connection. She has deep expertise leading cross-functional teams, managing multimillion-dollar budgets, and translating complex business objectives into memorable programs that celebrate people and strengthen culture. Known for her creative vision, collaborative leadership style, and ability to deliver exceptional results under pressure, Alex is passionate about creating experiences that bring people together.
Outside of work, Alex is mom to Mick, who will be in the Cats class next year, and wife to Lee. Their family has proudly called Ormewood Park home for the past 10 years, where they spend weekends walking the Atlanta BeltLine with their dog Rossi, trying new restaurants, and revisiting favorite local spots like Talat Market, Little Bear, Staplehouse, and Gigi’s Italian Kitchen. Alex and Lee also share a love of travel and are excited to explore the world with Mick, helping him learn about different cultures and perspectives through firsthand experiences.

Lisa Kim - Personnel Chair
Lisa grew up in Johns Creek but returned to Atlanta in 2018 after an 11 year stint in New York City. She works in Learning & Development and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion at a global environmental not for profit. She gets excited about coming up with and implementing new ideas and fostering ways to bring people together. In her free time when not juggling taking care of her twin boys, she enjoys cooking new recipes (more of the slow cooker/ instant pot and oven bake variety since the arrival of her boys), yoga and running. Her twin boys are starting this year in the Salamanders class.

At-Large Representative - Alex Overall
Alex has lived in Grant Park for over 12 years and hopes to never leave. He and his wife, Evelyn, are the proud parents of Madeline, who is starting in the Cats class this year. Alex works as a product manager at Clio, where he focuses on building tools that help law firms improve the legal experience and expand access to justice for all people. In his free time, he enjoys woodworking, 3D printing, and tinkering with all kinds of tech projects. He’s passionate about making technology approachable and useful, and looks forward to using his skills to strengthen the systems that support GPCP’s vibrant community. These days, most of his inspiration comes from exploring the world with Madeline and seeing things through her curious eyes.

Shannon Newton - Alumni Representative
Shannon has been part of the GPCP family for nearly two decades. Her journey began as a college nanny for GPCP families, followed by roles as a summer camp and substitute educator, and eventually as a classroom educator for four years, which included participation in a Reggio Emilia study tour. Now a proud GPCP alumni parent, Shannon and her husband, Justin, have two children, Hatch and Margo, both GPCP alumni. Shannon currently works on the People & Culture team at a local technology firm, where she focuses on enriching employee experiences and developing talent. She looks forward to bringing her connection to the school and her professional expertise to support GPCP’s values and further its mission as a member of the board.
