Meet the Aux team
Belinda Parra
Atelierista
I was born and raised in the beautiful West Texas town of El Paso. When I moved to New Mexico, I became interested in the field of Early Childhood Education. Being a person who loves to travel, I moved to several places around the US and landed 8 years ago in Atlanta.
My passion is to understand children’s diverse styles of learning and the various approaches to education. I have 23 years of research with children and am grateful for every minute of it. GPCP is the community I have been dreaming about since discovering the Reggio Emilia Approach.
The roles I currently occupy are Atelierista, Teacher Representative, and Pedagogical team member. In my life away from school, I enjoy tinkering with found objects through assemblage and collaging. I would describe myself as a collector of “fabulous, fabulous things.” Other pursuits that delight me are gardening, organizing, thrifting, and being outdoors. (She/Her)

My name is Ms.Talaisja-Mone’. I am a Pennsylvania native! I graduated from Valdosta State University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication. I have been exploring and teaching within children's learning communities for five years; working with GPCP for four years. I’ve had the privilege of working and growing with all of the class levels within the school community. (She/Her)

I’m Shantelle Donelly, and I support the atelierista! I was born and raised in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands, and moved to Atlanta in 2016 to attend Agnes Scott College. I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies in 2019, becoming an educator shortly after.
Fun fact: I am a storyteller! I love creating Caribbean short stories and creative non-fiction. (She/Her)
Veneeta Danhoui
Atelier Support
My name is Veneeta and I am part of the atelier support! I am originally from Minneapolis, MN, and moved to Georgia in 2019, after graduating from Agnes Scott College in Decatur. I studied Studio Art, and also enjoy writing and reading. I have previously worked with 2-3-year-olds, elementary and high school students. Working with children is always such a meaningful and impactful experience, and I am really excited to grow with GPCP and its wonderful students. A fun fact about me is that I have a cat named Honey!
