LCM Educator Partnership
LCM has partnered up with GPCP to work towards building an inclusive environment through collaboration and education. By bringing their behavior analytic perspective to the table their goal is to help parents, educators, and the community as a whole to understand how to interpret behavior as a form of communication, ensuring that all children are provided with the tools needed to be successful in their endeavors and environment, as well as education regarding the importance of documentation and how to address behavior as a way for the children learning to communicate their needs. We are also a part of the project to advocate for children’s rights through our inclusion work.
Their involvement with GPCP will include but is not limited to:
Parent & Educator Workshops
Consultation within the classrooms as well as individual families on how to improve and enhance the child’s learning experience
Documentation of set goals and guidance to the process
External services to include Behavioral interventions
Parent Coaching
